A great little pairing
a) Hed Alps front wheel - clincher - deep carbon rim - alloy braking surface - 700c.
This is very similar to a Mavic Cosmic Carbone SSC - well used but not abused. I'd guestimate that approx 30% of the brake surface has worn so plenty left.
b) Hed 3 rear wheel - clincher - trispoke carbon - alloy braking surface - Shimano freehub - 700c.
Wow! - This is a heavy mutha but once it gets going...
Almost no wear to the brake surface.
Looks fantastic.
The carbon on both wheels is fine although as usual the finish is starting to chip off in plenty of places.
Both run true but the bearings feel slightly worn so could do with renewing.
