Tubeless Tyre Advice

Hello all,
just got some Hunt wheels shod with:

I am unsure what tyre pressures they should be. Used mainly on the road with a rider weight of 90kgs.

I'm a touch heavier at 95kg & running 28s, on the road, at 75 psi, feels 'different' at first, but you'll soon get used to it, reckon 70-75psi would be ideal, unless you're more off road, then maybe lower still

This is the venerable but high rep BQ article drawing on the late Frank Berto's expertise, which many reference. Need to use actual tyre width rather than spec (OP's = 30mm).

For a 100kg load bear in mind the load will be split unequally front/rear: rule of thumb 10psi different.

Tubeless will allow you to drop another 10psi or so (as no risk of pinch punctures), which will increase comfort but also start to increase rolling resistance and also increase off-road grip / traction for gravel tyres etc . If OP is "mainly on road" then no need to go too low with pressures as off-road traction isn't a concern, it becomes a personal experiment / trade off between comfort and speed/ rolling resistance without the 'higher minimum psi constraint' that tubes / pinch puncture risk impose.

I'm a similar weight and running 68/70 psi on 30mm tubed and about 64/66 tubeless

I'm not used to tubeless but know I primarily used them on MTB's which allowed lower pressures but as a 'tubed' tyre on a road bike I'd normally have up 100psi, then I thought you'd get away with maybe 10-20% less.

20% less for me.
I know someone who had 120 psi in their tubeless set up & got a gash & all the sealant sprayed all over the place. Nobody needs high pressure in TL.
