Decent sleep after yesterdays communting activity and some grape based refreshement afterwards. Paid off a chunk of the mortgage yesterday before Mrs. 666 got her grubby mitts on the money. Now need to top up her NI contributions as she didn't work enough years to get the full state pension, I hope to at least get a thank you...

Very very wet here today. I guess it's good for the lawn BUT not my morale.

Raining here. I have the window open so have been listening to it and the trees blowing in the wind (I used to live where there were Aspen trees. I still miss hearing them 'hiss', but hey ho).

Another damp one here. Currently finishing my second coffee and watching next door’s squirrel raid the bird feeder. Apparently it’s supposed to be nice and sunny later but with 40 plus winds. I thinking cycling might be over for this summer.
