It's a fair day up here, although I'm headed towards Gordon to see a man called Angus (or vice versa) where the forecast is warmer. Can't say fairer than that.

I had to put the fan heater on for a bit in the cave first thing...in June. Anyhow, beavering away on work stuff for now: Mrs. 666 has the gardener/handyman round doing garden stuff at her bidding, no doubt I'll get the bill

Seems to be OK by the evening down here in sub-tropical Kent.

Glorious winter day, 16 deg C, sunshine. Day to myself, the first full one without visitors or relatives staying over or coming to "help"...

Mr WS's funeral service was last Friday. Delivering the eulogy for the person you've loved more than anything for a quarter of a century is just the hardest thing to face.

At some point, life might restart. There will be tedious admin to do, and a load of stuff to sort out. Coffee may not get the job done.

Thank you, apparently it went over very well which pleased me. Was terrified I'd screw it up and not get through, but 35 minutes, no notes used and nobody walked out offended.. :-). Just didn't feel I could hand that responsibility over to someone who didn't know him or us
