Grey day but busy so doesn't really matter. Mrs. 666 is off to a relatives funeral while I'm sorting out the hounds and being around while the decorator does up the spare bedroom. Got a few virtual meetings in between.

Grey miserable and threatening over here.
Seriously considering shipping out for a month at a time in future years. Just seems to be perma-autumn rather than full on winter these days (unlike when I was young: orange ball, snowmen for goalposts... marvellous)

Coffee, and maybe some pension wrangling if I'm lucky. The stuff for the bike oil change came through so I might fiddle with that.

We are, sadly we had a leak in the bathroom that blew the 130yr old plaster on the ceiling and a wall, so we took the decision to replace offending bathroom and replace the old plaster. Once its all done and decorated its start looking and listing.

arrived back from a brekkie that evolved into lunch with wine and wine, to find a mysterious black box has been delivered

black, that's a sign of amex, have they sent me a freebie bubbly? i ask myself, though it feels a bit light, perhaps a half bottle? and chocs? that'd be nice

inside the outer box is another box, yep it's amex, my hopes soar, what delights await within...

...then crash, it's a book and a bottle of olive oil, sigh
