With great sadness, I had to compost the 10 year plus supply of mincemeat I found in Mum's loft a few weeks ago.
I'd have gone for it but would have been in minority of 1.
The worms and snails in her garden now leave very zig zagged trails and I suspect they're behind some of the deliveroo detritus in the edges.

Apparently it’s fine to use according to Mrs W and will be used in another batch of mince pies.

Oh good. What's the bike again?

Sorry, I’d missed this at the time. An old Chesini with Nuovo Record on it. I’d intended using the Masi last year but a few people told me it would get ruined if I wanted to enjoy the ride. They were right, the early rain covered everything in gritty water and the dry descents later in the day were throwing up lots of stones that were pinging off the frame. The Masi is lovely and I would be upset if it got damaged, the good thing about that is I can put the Deltas back on it now as tyre clearance won’t be as critical.

Nice.
My friend just picked up a hand built Claude Butler 1965 with campag 5 speed and large flange hubs.
Never ridden! (I'm waiting for pictures) for... £150.

Smaller wheels - 650's? I'm not familiar with the pre 700c sizes.

Aah, sorry, probably be old style 26”. Different to mountain bike 26” so beware. Tyre size would be written with a fraction like 26x1 3/8” and a 597mm bead seat, rather than MTB style using a decimal like 26x1.75” and a 559mm bead seat.

Nice 👍
Think that’s a reasonably early Gran Sport rear derailleur to have smooth jockey wheels, but I’m certainly no expert. I’d have thought 27” wheels on that, but again, I’m no expert
