It's been good this low maintenance turf. Given the March-April drought, I don't think I have mowed the grass on so few occasions this year. And that's good 'cos for me it's a 2hr+ job including strimming.

Up and in the office (a bit too) early for a call with the Kingdom of Far Far Away - lots of traffic on the drive into the 'burbs tells me that the summer hols are largely over. Easy meeting in the end though as they just rubber stamped stuff that we needed to get done. Now depleting the free coffee supplies at work to compensate - a case of 'you get what you pay for' if ever there was one.
Evening
We were out first thing to go to opticians then we went to Helmsley so Mrs W could go look for a dress for a forthcoming wedding. I sat in the market place wrestling with young Bertie who wanted to play with everyone and everything. Mrs W failed to find a dress so with we went Vinehouse cafe only to find it shut. So we cut our loses and came home, I went for a ride and young Bertie got a bath.
