Unexpectedly I'm now post procedure in short stay, not going home today, being kept under observation. Until tomorrow? Tubes in and out all over the place. Surgeon will be round in a while to explain things. Feeling ok. Tbc...

Just as well I read the instructions and brought with me bits, bobs and baggies!
