Cool and cloudy again. This has been the pattern for the last 6 days. Then it will brighten up later I presume.

Coffee then stuff...

Yeah, was looking for a word to describe today's weather so far: Stranraer-ish fits.

Heading up to Callander for a ride with DD2 and a friend of hers who's actually enthusiastic about doing stuff (this is new to us as parents) so we're milking it for all we can.

Goat milk ice cream will follow....

Please keep your Stranraer-ish weather north of the border, we don't want it down here.

WFH today with a few calls to get through and a quick trip to the garden centre at lunchtime as Mrs. 666 didn't order enough garden related supplies on the weekend for her latest outdoor project  In other news, junior hound 'caught' a dead squirrel on yesterdays walk and was running around with it for ages like he'd just won olympic gold: I assume it was starting to go off a bit as he didn't try to eat it.

Our hounds don’t mind a rotten animal 🙄

Bit nippy on this mornings walk, work snizzle and then chilled run or ride

Its a bit grey here but quite warm. Cold continues to persist so no cycling. Bertie has been walked and is chilling for the moment. Might try some weights later.

Been a busy day today, site meeting then some CADing required.
Managed the requisite pre work ride around Cragg Vale, and the pond, if you can call it that had some irony built into its sign.

Also dropped the bike off at the LBS for a new press fit BB as it creaked like buggery in Italy but is as quiet as a mouse here. One assumes the 40 degree heat expanded the frame slightly leaving a smidge of play down there. I’d already booked it in so let them get on with it as the current BB is about 5yrs old anyway.
