Double brr. Sky cleared after yet more rain (and localised flooding, the likes I have never seen before).
Moon was out and so was Beans varmint (turfed off the bed after getting jiggy with Mrs P's leg at sungod o'clock).
Now cold and breezy. A good day tinkering with 'new' alloys which need new boots.

Morning, Bright and chilly here, hopefully some of the water that fell yesterday has now drained away as cycling with a pal shortly. After coffee of course.

Work stuff whilst just over half of the house is very excited re kittens arriving today, the eldest and I are less fussed.

Run later, imagine the gym is off as the current wife will want to stay with the kittens

Feeling tired but not sure why - apart from waking up with bit of foot cramp at 4am thought I'd slept pretty well. Busy morning and just having an early lunch due to the call I have at lunchtime: mind you, I don't get the short end of the stick as all the others on the call are doing it pretty antisocial hours due to the time differences.

Apart from that, starting to get stuff ready for my trip to the far side of the planet this weekend.

Chilled day, dropped wifey off at the train station, new matress arrived, went fishing, a spot of WFH then off out for dinner with the lads.

Afternoon
Got dragged out early to shopping in Scarborough of all places. Which scuppered my plans to climb this morning. Walked Bertie then climbed about 3ish which seemed be wrong time for my body clock.
Seems to getting cold out which might effect tomorrows cycling plans.

Another day at the grind stone of his majesty's finest logistics and fulfilment organisation.

I'm beginning to realise that the management aren't there because they turned down senior roles at more dynamic enterprises.

It's 7 hours of continuous low level physical activity in the dry and paid too which isn't to be sniffed at.

What do the Spaniels think of them?
We had Brandy who tried to suckle kittens until mum came along and custody fights broke out.
A daily occurrence once upon a time.

The dogs are banished to the other side of the house currently 😂

Nothing wrong with kittens. You do need them in pairs though to ensure enough fur for slippers or gloves. 🤭. Only joking. I just hate their occasional gifts and tomcat spray 🤢.
