A stunning looking day. DD2 says let's go running early (or she did last night). DD1 keeps on choosing workplaces with no public transport options.
I say, nothing's happening until I've had coffee and, so far, it hasn't.

Short day as we’re off to a spa hotel this afternoon.
Truck in for a service and having a 12v socket fitted to keep the pups food frozen when we drive down to the house. Bloody expensive these four legged things.

Morning

Yesterday started bright but windy and chilly. Then it turned into one the loveliest evening of the year but by then, far too late to pedal given my culinary duties took precedent.
Today is grey and cloudy and cool again.

Coffee

Just discovered that buttermilk does not go well with tea or muesli, must read the labels in Dirk the supermarket more carefully.....

Yes but good for making bread.
I make Paneer and save the buttermilk; it freezes and then I use it for bread making. I did more of it during lock down TBH.

Started bright and sunny but it seems to have clouded over. Today will get out on the bike once Bertie’s walked as tomorrow which would be normally be a cycling day looks rather damp.

I didn't ask the OH how much the private doggy swimming session cost that she took our hounds to on the weekend...

Morning Peeps,

Number torturing finished but we need to see if the auditors are satisfied with our torturing (which will be its own form of torture). So back to some real work and a spot more sim racing. Will go for a quick blat on the bike if time allows and weather stays dry after work.

The sort of start to the day that cyclists dream about
The ones where you get a brew in bed, don't have to do any housework, don't need to ride at 8am and instead can set off around 10.30/11 when the chill has disapeared and you can ride in short sleeves, and a cold beer is waiting on your arival home?

That sort of day?
