Tuesday walks amongst us

Bleary eyed as MrsHDs lurgey continues its relentless quest to keep the whole house awake.
Poor doggy is at the vet’s to have lady parts removed only we’ve stumbled on a potential sticking point. She seems to be having a phantom pregnancy which is common in Dachshunds.
Meeting today and may nip to the fishing shop to stock up.

Late start to work today as I chase my errant roofer onto the tiles, something he seems to have become averse to after I paid him.

Might be the best day of the week for a commute and it might be in daylight.

Cold and foggy here. Up early to move MH and get prepared for pellet delivery, which will probably not arrive now until later.

Dark and dank. We too are having a delivery, but logs not pellets. I’m not sure why as one of the log stores is still full. But maybe Mrs W is aware of some pending big freeze.

Sticking point has stuck, she's been sent home with medicine to take back her milk and re-booked for Jan 2026.
The up side to that is that it being the only dry day this week I'm going to knock off early and take her for a walk and a pupachino to cheer her up.

O woe is me - had a really wobbly night, so have just been unravelling travel plans for my 4-week stay in France (I was supposed to be leaving tomorrow). Thankfully most of the stuff I can cancel with little or no penalty, apart from the flight out and the Eurostar, so no great financial hit. Bloomin annoying, but I daren't risk being ill out there over Christmas.

Pellets all blown into the store, now just remains to remove sawdust from clothing, hair etc.
