Turbo trainer set up, help!

Please tell where I am going wrong setting my bike on my Elite Mag Volare turbo trainer!

Turn the trainer around 180°

The mounting points where its say Elite in red should be attached to the rear wheel spindle. You usually change the skewer to match the Elite mounts

Fix your bike to The trainer!

That tyre is going to be interesting on the turbo. ZZZZZZbbbbzzzzzzz

You need the correct skewer in the rear wheel (it needs to be a turbo specific one to fit the mounts), and then you need to fix the back wheel into the two mounts at the top of the trainer. After that, the sprung roller can be moved up to contact the wheel.

That tyre will also be rather noisy! You'd be better with a slick tyre.

The red bit with elite on clamps the axle of the rear wheel. As others have said you might need a specific skewer that slots into the turbo ?
