Friday night I had an 80s LP fest, Hipsway, Love & Money, Julia Fordham, Grace Jones, nearly played the Womack album but switched to Tracey Chapman when Mrs FF came home.

I remember Bauhaus from the John Peel days. I used to listen to his show every night with my ghetto blaster ready to record. I must have had over 20 c90 tapes full of obscure stuff!!

Back in the 80s, I shared a house with a girl who had this on a 12" single. I had never come across such records before and played it for the first time at 33 1/3 rpm. I thought it was Tom Waits.

Cracking thread, this. Just got out my 12 inchers for the first time in ages and found the following;
Robert Gordon: "Endless Sleep" CW "The Fool" to be played at 78 rpm!
The Flamin' Groovies: "Feel a Whole Lot Better" CW "Paint it Black" and "Shake Some Action"
Television: "Foxhole" CW "Careful" on lurid pink vinyl!
Steel Pulse: "Ku Klux Klan" CW "Bun Dem"
Televison" "Prove It" CW "Venus" on green vinyl
Xray Spex: "Oh Bondage up Yours" CW "I am a Cliche"

I got a USB record player last Christmas and haven't recorded the above yet so guess what the rest of my day will consist of?
