This pair of Corolla estates are on a local street

I think the silver one belongs to the chap who owns the fish & chip shop (which is to my immediate left), the purple one is owned by someone a few doors up

Whilst it may be common to see similar (eg...) Focus, Vectra, B*W's on a street, 2 fairly uncommon models of a late 90s car must be fairly rare?

That said, there were 2 Triumph Acclaims (same colour too) in Featherstone

It happens. When I was a student in NI my car was B370 BNH (then an MIW 3518 plate and a B593 SAJ after I sold the MIW one). It was an ex-BT staff car, a white Mk3 Ford Escort estate.

One day I got involved in driving some of the ladies hockey team to a match. Another team member picked up a hire car from nearby, which was a matching white Mk3 Escort estate registration B369 BNH.

Back in the mid 80's, I drove several white Vauxhall Cavaliers with similar registrations. A300RGB up to about A330RGB. Also B720YGB and B721YGB. They all had a red stripe round them and a flashing blue light on the roof! As an aside, best cars for the job. Far superior to the Ford Escort/Focus things that followed them. Couldn't even tell you what they use these days, invisible cars I think .
