Agreed... Mad Max and Mad Max 2 are great films... Thunderdome is tosh. Fury Road is just a remake of the 2nd half of Mad Max 2... but it's a lot of a fun to watch.

Thunderdome is hilarious, best of the series.
The first is too harsh, the second too weak. Fury Road was a great movie about Theron, with mad max putting in a cameo appearance.

That's the point. Futurist thrillers are either your cut of meat or not and they can be good or dire.
Have to admit if good I'm a fan. Two of best in my book are the original Robo Cop and Sly Stallone's Demolition Man with Wesley Snipes who is brilliant playing the thing for laughs.
