Two pints of cider has wiped me out.

Good for you. There's been times in the past when I wish I'd been able to do the same. I'm not a big drinker at all and these days could frankly do without completely. I can feel jaded the following day after just a couple of glasses of wine.
I'm glad it's not just me. A lot of my friends seem to feel the same way as we all establish ourselves well and truely in middle age. It's not something I mind though, if anything it's a good thing and certainly cheaper in these days of bar tabs like telephone numbers.

Cant drink any pints etc  (just end up sick, literally)
Spirits I can take with soft drinks.
ATM I like Morgans Spiced with coke.

I recently discovered the joy of Henry Westons 2012 Vintage oak aged Herefordshire cider.

At 8.2% it's rocket fuel, but very nice all the same

Stayed near Taunton last week for a few days. Had some great Thatchers Gold, also some excellent Merrydown...at least I think it was this as I had already had a fair bit of the Thatchers

But there#'s a little bit of me that still hankers after a true taste of my youth......................Diamond White :wahhey:

I'm planning to work on becoming a lightweight. Putting away a whole bottle of JD honey whiskey Tuesday night then suffering a nasty hangover at work yesterday has made me think I possibly like my drink a little bit too much

That Jacques cider is foul disgusting stuff indeed. I don't even know how they can call it cider; it's just nasty tasting chemicals as far as I am concerned. Jack Frost cider has a bit of a funny smell to it I think. Thatchers Gold is very nice indeed.

anything with the words diamond, lightning, ace, white, frost, in any combo is not cider. it is purely chemicals that hasn't seen an apple. K cider is in the same vein. pure evil.

westons vintage is lovely

True words indeed. I can't remember if I've ever tried Westons vintage before. I'm not much of a cider drinker; I'm more a Guinness/ale man.
