Tyre marks/stains on carpet

Cut out the piece of carpet with the damage. Cut out an identical sized patch from under the sofa and swap them over. With a bit of brushing of the fabric it'll be the perfect crime.

Well there you go. Burning tyres on the living room carpet is just asking for trouble

I noticed this bike mat in aldi the other day and thought "Ooh that'll be handy" ...then i thought about the carpet me and my upstairs neighbour have been parking our bikes on for the last ten years and figured it was a bit late to be putting a mat down.
