I am running some Michelin Transworld Sports, cheapish 700/37 hybrid tyre as I do an off road section and some pretty rough roads that don't suit the Conti 28 mm slicks, ok in the summer when I can see potholes and dont do the off road bit but not this time of year.

They say 70 psi but I find they are better at 80, is this a problem, not bothered if I wreck them at a tenner but is there anything I am missing, they seem fine, havent popped of the rim or anything.

Also, can I go from 28 mm slicks to 25 mm come summer, its a Cannondale Bad Boy 700, will I notice much difference ?

80 psi seems quite low to me my 37's recommend 85psi max. That being said at this time of year I only pump mine up to 70ish but I've no qualms about higher pressure at other times of year.

I changed the 28mm tyres on my Sirrus to 25s, I don't think I noticed much difference. There might be a slight gain in rolling resistance but might just be due to getting fitter. I don't think there is any difference in comfort. The 25s are actually grippier than the 28s but I put that down to the change from spesh nimbus armadillo to conti 4 seasons.
