Tyre Suggestions?

Can anyone suggest tyres which will give a comfortable ride, roll well on tarmac but still have sufficiant tread for some off road riding, nothing too seriious, just hardpack, forest trails etc?

Many thanks for those suggestions guys...that Kenda Small Block 8 looks good and at 450grms for 1.95 its almost half the weight of the Schwalbe Landcruiser

I was thinking about putting some 26*2.00 Marathon Plus Tours on my MTB, theyre rather heavy though

Thanks for that...I'm not positive but I think the XR may have been replaced bt the Marathon Extreme which is a bit lighter at 670grms...it seems to have good reviews.

With your terrain requirements it seems to me you should pick a semi-slick. But tread and weight are not the only things you need to decide. There is also trade off regarding pressure and size. This might help you pick.
