Tyre wear

Hi Guys and Gals, Can anyone tell me how many miles they get from there tyres. I have had my bike for just over a year now and have noticed that the rear tyre has got a flat spot running in the centre around the whole tyre.
They have done about 2000 miles and the make are Vittori pro and i am just a bit concerned how much longer to use them.

You're bound to get wear in the middle of the tyre so that in itself is not a problem. If you still have a full coating of rubber all the way around the worn section then there is still some life remaining in the tyre, just make a regular check of the tyre and if there is any sign of the rubber peeling it's time to make a change. It would be prudent to buy a spare tyre now so that you're not caught out unexpectedly when it's time to change!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
