I am back on my road bike with the addition of my Nokkian W106s. My white 1990 fillet brazed cyclocross bike looks like it was made to take these tyres; they look great. I'll echo others in that they dont like sandy-type snow, and love scratching things indoors.
Expensive and very heavy, but worth every penny. The weight is tremendous, but has the benefit of providing additional centrifugal stabilisation at the low speeds.
They have a much lower rolling resistance than the MTB tyres I have been experiencing for the last weeks, but are significantly worse than similar 35mm cross tyres.
I am so glad I have got some at last.
