I was sent this yesterday.
Great publicity picture....

Yes I am in it.
Picture must have been taken 2 or 3 years ago and I've never seen it before

Kind of interesting that the UCI do this kind of stuff. I thought they were just the sport governing body and concerned mainly with sock length and banning things.

There's a seagull sitting on the head of a statue in the background of the full image on the web. Looks like it may have just pooped on it.

Yup, totally new to me too!

At first I smelled a rat (let's check how many gas exploration sponsors they have ... ), but actually they might be the good guys.
Saint Chris Boardman seems to be on board, which is generally an excellent indicator:

The 2021 UCI Mobility & Bike City Forum with Destination Fyn took place at the ODEON in Odense (Denmark) on 26-27 October 2021. Inspiring keynote speeches has been delivered by Chris Boardman and Ashleigh Moolman Pasio, the two days of learning and exchange featured numerous examples of best practice shared by cycling experts from around the globe.

Ohhh, a Freewheel North ride, Eilidh leading, and there's Mags R.I.P.
They make cycling in Glasgow look very dangerous.
It's just by chance that they are all wearing a helmet.
I have attended many of the Freewheel North rides sans H, no issues.
Indeed, one of the ride leaders never wears one.

No Helmet  What dangerous and grossly irresponsible heresy your advocating .
I am going to make a strongly worded complaint to the Mods team .………………………

Oh , how do I delete a post .

FWN never insisted on helmets.
Sadly they stopped all led rides at the start of this year, along with lessons.
Directors claimed that they wanted to focus on other projects.

All the ride leaders and track staff, including me have now been made redundant.
Charity commission are investigating them.
Scottish government funding has been stopped.
Meanwhile they have a new board of unelected directors destroying what is left.
Rather ironic that we should pop up in this publicity material now.

Aye, I'm aware of the happenings.
Could not come to the save our cycling centre event, because I was working.
On the by, Carol's bike was stolen today from Partick station: this is why I have stopped leaving my bike unattended in town, not even for a short period of time.
If I must, I take public transport to Glasgow.
Sorry folks, a wee bit of an OT here ^_^
