Oh well, ar least there was a decent passer-by. Doesn't always seem to be so these days.

yeah thank god he intervened. he risked getting set on himself . A cyclist was beaten up by 4x teenagers today and is fighting for his life .

Whats the matter with people today? is it the influence of 3x decades of violence on tv and film ?

I just walked past a horse field/stables and there was a note asking if anyone had witnessed people playing golf in the field which had hospitalized a horse: Really, words utterly fail me.

I've reached the point now where I just intervene. I'm so filled with anger about stuff like this. Just the other night I threw three teenagers off the campsite I was staying on and then made a point of stopping when I saw them the next day to point out to them I knew who they were and were they hung out. I've just had enough, I don't want my kids to grow up in a society like this.

That's the problem with latch key kids, some parents are at work and don't give a dam for their well-being, others are so off their faces on drink and drugs they are not fit to bring up kids.

Society churns out these misfits, with no manners and once they get together in groups they cause trouble. Last year in York we had a bunch of under 10s use a duckling as a football. No one went up to the kids and told them off for doing it.

I'm not really surprised. At best, they will tell you to f**k off, at worst they will use your head as the football.

In general, unless you have a powerful voice and an authoritive presence and you would be prepared to fight them (knowing that there is a distinct possibility of them having weapons) then it is best to leave the heroics to someone better equipped to deal with it.

I disagree - a bunch of teenagers hanging around will usually be bored and just looking for laughs and most of them vaguely aware that their presence threatens people. If you approach them and ask them reasonably to move, many will move. But obviously you wouldn't approach a bunch of pissed up chavs in any town centre late at night.

Makes me want to xx(. Punching and kicking a ****ing little thing like that?   Trouble is, IF they are caught, nothing will happen to them.

A while ago, I saw a young girl walking a dog. Because the dog was having a good sniff about, as they do, she started yanking it on the lead and punching it's back. I stopped the car and shouted 'What the **** are you doing?'. She shoot herself but then said 'It's what my Dad told me to do'. Give me strength.
