Yebbut if we win, we have to pay to host it next year. That'll go down well with a certain type of voter...
We pay for it whether we win or not.

I'll bet you five pounds, here and now, that it doesn't finish with 0 points.

Ireland and Malta might sometimes give us a couple of points out of sympathy, but I can't see this one fairing much better than that! (I preferred the two girls for some reason).
I'd be happy to be proved wrong - would be great to win it again.

I wouldn't be the slightest bit surprised if they engineered a British win, in order to create a feel good factor about Europe prior to the referendum vote the following month.
Nah, Ingurluund's footballers will put paid to that notion.

I'm watching the Norwegian competition right now!!!!!!?!!!

This time last night I was night-sledging, with my son, under the clearest skies I've seen for years. But it appears I've picked up a bit of a fever so tonight I'm on the sofa watching a load of toss. I'll vote for the worst load of toss for Britain's sake.

I agree it's not bad. It's a bit C21st, but I don't think it is worth proffering anything better.

The song is boring and not at all memorable.
If a pop group had this on an album, would it even be released as a single? No!
Would anyone bother with it if it was not our entry? No.

When we have a song that deserves to win then we can gripe that we don't win. Until then seems a bit sill moaning that our poor songs do not get votes.

Well, after sitting through the Norwegian efforts I've got to say the UK entry is of a much higher quality. The UK will score a lot less points though.
