UK recumbent rally

Well, I just came back from York Cycle rally, http://www.yorkrally.org/ and apparently you guys have been keeping it a secret that it is really a covert recumbent and alternative cycling event... the place was infested with non-upright cycle vehicles. Apart from the BHPC stand and Ice Trikes having demo rides circling a small grass area, the camping areas and rally grounds were marvellously populated by folk with seats not saddles. If you want to meet up, keep an eye on the web and book for next year at the resurrected and improved York Rally

I certainly enjoyed it! I did have some real lowrider envy at one point however.

Lots of good displays as mentioned and all the Ice test ride trikes were in use when we saw them.

Other half was even impressed with a used tandem for sale at £250!!!

I wonder if any of my orange recumbent flags were there. I used to make them from spare sail cloth under my bench and send them to people all over the World.

I wish I could have made it. I realy wanted to be There. Instead I spent the weekend giving myself ulcers over an exam on Monday morning.
