Ultegra Brakes bleed screw - safety torx ???

I wanted to bleed my hydraulic brakes, Ultegra.
I noticed under the plastic hood, the little bleed screw is not a "normal" hex, not even a Torx, but rather this one in the figure.
I'm annoyed, I didn't expect this and I don't have the tools at home yet.
Is this "normal"? Anyone encountered such a screw before? What's the format called?

Two ways to tackle it. First the correct w. Buy a set of security drivers, or even just the bits. E.g https://www.toolstation.com/draper-security-bit-set/p52910

Second way / bodge, it to take a small screwdriver and knock out the centre pin and then use a normal torx driver.

Yes, the first way is correct but it is not the only solution.

I don’t recommend using the second way though I have seen it done when someone was caught out. The correct bits are not expensive but there are people out there that even a few £ might be more than they can typically afford.

I was too obscure. I liked the second way because I hate these proprietary screw heads popping up everywhere. Damn them. Why on earth should a bleeding screw have a security nib?

Also, the hollow torx bit needed is much weaker than a solid one. One one of my cars there was a 6mm or 7mm security torx screw on something that wouldnt easily come off. I've broken a nib or two on that until I fixed it the "second way".

Unless I'm misunderstanding your question I don't think what you're looking at is the bleed screw, the bleed screw is at the top above the levers (well it is on my Ultegra levers). It's a large black disc with a small hex shaped recess

I recall starting to see security torx on medical devices around 30 years ago. Just did a web search for more information on them and was surprised to learn they were patented back in 1967!
