I think she wants to escape ultimate boredom not induce it (I personally find watching pro Cycling mind numbing unless it’s the sprint finish, or track cycling)!

I am the only one in my role here - so I can't really. I am going to do some admin stuff that I don't usually have time to do when it's super busy.

You don't have to stick rigidly to your role. I am sure you have transferable skills you can use to help others around you.

I love to watch the TdF highlights show for the amazing scenery - great for holiday planning.
All those bikes get in the way a bit.
