The third had just happened. I purchased a pack of Mangosteens at Asda when I did the weekly shop. I'd never seen or heard of them before and curiosity got the better of me. If anyone else is tempted by them - don't botter. They've been described as the queens of fruit. They are a third rate lychee/grape hybrid as far as taste and texture goes. I wish that I'd bought two pineapples instead superior quality and quantity on all counts and cheaper to boot!
