I have a Campy clamp on front derailleur. It has been in my possession since 1990 (or before.) it was used then. It has a "three piece clamp". I have looked through the catalogs and can't find another like it. I KNOW it is not rare, or particularly valuable, but I can't find which "series" ( Chorus, Record, etc.) it belongs to. I also have no idea of the vintage, but I estimate late seventies through eighties. Any ideas? I need to know before I post it to an auction site.

That's going to be a difficult one to tie down. If it came with a corresponding rear you could check it on the Disraeli Gears site.

Looks like it was for an aero tube as its definitely not circular. Guess would be a chorus/athena for a late 80's/early 90s aero tubed bike

I'm pretty confident I have a nearly identical one on a bike. Can check later. It is for a standard seat tube, though it might be a little bent out of shape.

Clamp is circular. Not bent. Just bad photo. It is in really great shape. Just som light chain marks inside the cage.
