Hi,

I found this old bicycle frame at a flea market. Could anyone help me identify it? The serial number is "L489."

Thanks,
Eddie

Looks like an old Schwinn cruiser frame, possibly a Stingray.

Bearing in mind I know nothing it doesn't strike me as a Schwinn but https://luxlow.com/products-page/lux-low-cruiser-frame-shop/ has some similar shaped frames maybe contact them to see if they can shad any light.

It appears, by the fork and rear drop out , to be something along the lines of a Murray or Columbia Cruiser, although it could have been given the imprint of any of a host of stores, mainly hardware and department stores. The color is reminiscent of one used by Coast-to-Coast Stores on their Coast King brand of bicycles. Here;s a Murray from a sales page, for example;

Thanks to everyone who replied!

The rear drop out on my bike still has me stumped. It does not look like the rear drop out on any Murrays, Columbias, or Coast Kings that I have seen.

Thanks Again,
Eddie
