thinking of upgrading my groupset on my Bianchi via nirone to a Shimano 105 groupset.
Is there anything I need to know before hand and also what should I be expecting to pay to have it fitted at my lbs?

What groupset are you upgrading from and how old is it?
105 is currently an 11 speed so depending on you starting point may involve a new hub for the rear wheel, and possibly a rear derailleur. The shifters will probably need changing to 105 and associated cabling.

You say 'groupset'. Do you actually mean group set, or do you mean just the gears, and possibly brakes and chainset? Big price difference between a full gruppo, and the highlights that most people plump for.

Just been to my local bike shop and having discussed it with them I'll put it on hold for the time being.
Thanks for the replies

Yes.
I was in an italian bike shop 4 or 5 years ago and they said that they no longer stocked them because of this.
Of course they could have had other reasons.
A bod on the bianchi stand at Spin a few years ago tried to convince me that the "owner" was effectively italian as he had italian parents or ate pasta every evening or whatever.
But anyone who knows owt about italy knows that they claim half the planet is italian - robert di niro etc etc .
