 more to do with my fitness I think . I havnt been cycling as much as I was in the summer . Was doing 20 - 30 miles per day every day and then going out to do the park . For the last few months its been less than 5 miles per day some times 2 . Add to that wind and rain . I am still very close to my best time and im sure once the summer comes I will own the KOM of RP  ^_^

I do take the point about train harder etc, but it is a bit short sighted generally. Think of a wheel upgrade like going from a pony to a horse. Yes, you won't be able suddenly to race horses but you will go faster (as long as you can stay on the horse!)

Yeah - as I said some would say 'ride more/train harder' but not me...

I would rather...

Cheat...

Oh I don't know , I don't take life too seriously so it could be a laugh ^_^
Should have my Ultegra carbon pedals tomorrow so taking the uxbridge road segment from Mr Sloth is first on the cards . RP in the summer and then

You'd be better spending the money on a bike fit , then some "better" tyres and tubes.

Get comfortable/efficient first, then faster second.

What do you want from cycling?
