upgrading 105 5800 shifters with r8000 shifters

Hi I am upgrading to r8000 groupset other then shifters for the time being. In the future would it be worth upgrading to r8000 shifters or just stay with 5800. would I notice any difference in the shifting. thank you

It'll be slightly smoother. But otherwise you'll probably not notice as they're both 11 speed.

I upgraded my older 10spd 105 to 10spd Ultegra as a mate was stripping Ultegra of his new bike for SRAM (why he didn't just buy a frame is beyond me) and was selling it cheap. I don't really think I noticed any change in shifting. If it'd been full price I doubt I would have upgraded.
