I was going to say, all that rust is more than surface rust on the chrome chain........I'd leave it.

I reckon if you put a barge pole near it then the barge pole would have more chance of transporting you somewhere.

looks like the bike I used to own....looks a bit dodgy and not worth £6 let alone £60..good call to leave it

yeah well even if i did buy it i would have replaced chain before i rode it but luckily i didn't buy it
also i'm saving for a garmin and not currently looking to another bike!

Glad you didn't go for it. To my eye that bike has clearly been stood out in the weather for a long time. It'll need a fair bit of fettling and new parts (chain, tyres and probably wheels) before it's rideable and that's assuming the rust on the frame isn't worse than it looks in the photos.
