My fingers are getting so cold that they reaches down to 11 degrees after a 45mins ride. Cant feel the fingers anymore....
Currently using a pair of altura waterproof winter gloves with a pair of silk linings, but couldn’t stop my fingers from freezing. My blood vessels under my nails actually stop responding to pressures a few days ago.

Any good recommendation for a pair of decent gloves? I'm avoiding heated gloves at the moment. looking for no more than £40. My hands are natually cold hands to begin with....

Get your self a pair of ski mittens, they will keep your fingers toasty and warm. I suffer from bad circulation and they are great for me. Even better if you get waterproof ones. :-)

I have a pair of "Asender" gloves which are fantastic!

I suffer from poor circulation in my fingers (mostly due to repeated bouts of frostnip while out in the Arctic!) and they work a treat to keep my fingers warm. They have a normal glove liner with an outer shell that seperates the fingers into pairs + thumb - lobster claw style:smile: ;)

I bought some Endura Deluge gloves about two weeks ago. They are warm and padded, and not too bulky. I think they are great. Cost about £33 from an on-line retailer...forget which.

I normally where sealskinz gloves - £25, waterproof and hands are warm down to about 3 C. Colder than that and I wear the gloves plus a pair of fleece lined over mittens. This combination keeps my hands warm down to at least -10C.

Blimey, we are all different - I only use my Altura waterproof night visions when it dips below zero. They were toasty at -15 the other week.

One person's good advice doesn't always apply - I guess it's why some folk still ride in shorts......

If you're that cold, get yourself over to a mountain sport type joint. There are some super warm gloves there. I've got some ski gloves which aren't that warm but I wanted to avoid synthetics as I find they don't agree with me... so the outers are leather. I believe that 'lobster mitts' are warmer than gloves. Got mine from nevisport who've opened a new shop in my part of town...

Suggested this a few weeks ago as a quick fix (in my case permanent ;))

Try a pair of latex or nitrile disposable gloves on your hands then whatever you normally wear.
It makes a huge difference to me. Couple of weeks ago, my hands were so so cold after 1 hours riding, it was absolute murder.

I think the disposable gloves stop the heat loss with the wind.

I use Chiba gloves...when the going gets cold..they're less than perfect

I remember reading this, might have it a try until I can find some decent gloves.
I have a free supply if nitrile gloves...
