That looks like poor circulation to me. I was told that 1/2 an aspirin can help. Not sure how much it would help and I'm not a doctor but someone else may have thoughts .

I have it too - doesn't even need to be that cold. Just holding anything cold (glass of water etc) can bring it on. Usually the 2nd finger but sometimes all. Horrible feeling.
Bizarrely, I don't get it on the bike. My old Gill gloves must be doing the job.
I wish it was available - I assume that it isn't (apart from for motorbikes.) Alcohol works for me to get the circulation to resume but can't use it really during the day... plus it wouldn't be wise to use alcohol until inside the house.
My partner has a similar problem and has recently started using the sports heated gloves from Blazewear which he says make a huge difference - he used to use glove liners and lobster gloves and would still be in agony in really cold conditions. That said, they're working on a better version for cyclists at the moment, so may be worth waiting till that comes out.

That Wikipedia article is scary ... but it started in my teens so I think its just the basic Raynaulds, and pregnancy did cure it temporarily due to the increased blood supply.
Tried the Blaze Gloves - they didn't supply enough heat in the right area. But I will keep an eye out for a newer model.
