In summer 2006 I rode from San Francisco to New York City fulfilling a long-standing ambition. It was the trip of a lifetime in so many ways!
I then wrote a book which I have recently self-published in order to raise some funds for a very worthwhile humanitarian project.
A cycling friend of mine here in Stirling has set up a project in Mozambique enabling a small community to provide clean water for themselves & refurbish their local hospital.
I still have some books left & Mrs Ashworth would love to have the last box out from under the spare bed!
