Using A Indoor Exercise Bike Outdoors

I have been using my indoor Exercise bike outdoors since last April as I do not have any room for it indoors and I leave the console on it all the time as it would be to much bother removing it and refitting it . I keep it wrapped in a towel and the towel covered in plastic at all times and so far so good no problems

However now with the winter just around the corner will the cold weather do any damage to the console as they are very sensitive ? any ideas how to protect it from the cold ? I guess the damp will not get at the console as I have it well wrapped in plastic

Not a good idea to leave outside in winter as the electronics will rust inside even with a cover on the console

How will the electronics rust inside the console when damp and moisture cannot get inside the console
