using conti city contact tyres off road

just bought a set of these today and i was wondering if they would be able to take a few miles of canal towpath each day as part of my commute?

I've got conti contacts on my commuter, they cope no problem with the canal towpaths near me.

Any tyre of 700c x 28 or larger can cope with most towpaths and a bit of off road.
