Using CTC routes

Hi all,

I am planning my E2E this June. I am planning on using the CTC YHA route, albeit over fewer days than their plan. Has anyone any experience of this route, or any comments?

used that same one when i first did lejog back in 1995..poss some hostels closed now but found it a good route

Do people generally rate the CTC routes? My bro and me are planning to do the LEJOG next May and are about to start route planning.

The resources at www.cycle-endtoend.org.uk will probably be useful.

The JOGLE I did in 2005 (and the upcoming LEJOG in June 2010) used the CTC route as a good basis but then blended other bits in (See Journal 176 on the site)
