Is anyone a member of the said company? I just had a rep telling me how much money I could save on utility bills, broadband, phone, tv, Mobil . Are they as good as they say they are? I haven't committed myself yet as I hope some of you are members and I would welcome your feedback.

Never heard of them. I just use uSwitch for utilities review

There's something here about the company https://www.theguardian.com/money/2...utility-warehouse-energy-scheme-joanna-lumley

Which ? https://www.which.co.uk/reviews/ene...er-energy-companies-reviews/utility-warehouse

A quick google shows they're up and coming, and put up their prices by 4.4% in July.
They do everything from broadband to electric.
Basically another bill collector making a profit out of ticking a national supplier's 'paid' box.

Apparently founded in 2002?

I have no intention of working for them, I just want to know what they are like as energy providers and if it is worth switching everything to them.

I get a good service from them. Been a member for ages. Need to transfer my broadband to them for more discounts. If you want to switch to them @gavroche it would help me if you used my referral as I get a bit of discount for everyone I successfully refer. Here's the requirement "Your friend will need to call us on 0333 777 3 212 and give us your membership number so we can reward you." I can PM you my membership number. No pressure

It comes down to this. Utilities Warehouse is a business, anything they provide you with will include an element of profit for them.

If you have the time do the research and switch yourself. I switch gas, electric, car, house and travel insurance, roadside recovery every year and the cost always reduces. Our energy bill has reduced from £1150 five years ago to approximately £800!

This year we switched broadband supplier with a saving of £516 pa.

It takes 3-4 hours sometimes but is easily worth it.

If switching broadband, make sure you’ll manage if you’re without it for the switch day (or indeed longer). I work from home and lost a day’s income (several hundred quid) as BT assured me there would be no downtime. However, they switched off my broadband at 6am and Virgin connected me at 6pm (afternoon engineer slot)

Gas and electric, you’ll not be without unless they really fubar it.

Mobile, similar issues can arise with unsynchronised porting. Again, don’t do if you can’t afford to be cut off for a few days
