Van Nicholas are amazing.
I noticed a small crack on the seat stay of my 13 year Yukon.
I contacted them with a picture of the crack and a copy of my dealer receipt(from Halfords bike to work)
After asking me to cut the damaged frame in 3, I have received a replacement in less than a week.
I really couldn't have asked for a better outcome.

I really think they ought to have sent you an angle grinder to to cut the frame up though.

What did you use to cut it with? Ti is hard to cut, isn't it?

Really good service that. But I can't help but think the frame could have been repaired

I had to send my frame back in 2018, which I did via a Suffolk dealer. I asked if I could have an VN Amazon disc brake frame as replacement for my Yukon frame, which they agreed to.

That's a good result, did they need to see it cut up before they sent a new one ? That crack could have been welded.

Which is exactly why they wanted the frame cut up.

I had actually arranged to see a welding company last week. I always thought that I'd lost the paperwork, but after a final check I found the copy of my delivery receipt.
After contacting VN they agreed to a replacement and asked me to provide proof I had cut it into 3 Pieces.
