Varia radar mounts

Hi, not sure if this is the best place for this but here goes...

Bought a Garmin Varia radar thingy today, it comes with 2 mounts, one for a round seatpost and one for an aero seatpost -my Giant has a D-fuse seatpost. The mount sits flush but angled too far downwards if used correctly, if used upside down (the mount) then it sits at the right level but its not flush to the seatpost, and only held on by 'o' rings it just doesn't look sturdy at all.

Not too much help on net about it, but Dc Rainmaker does say anyone with "even basic mygyver skills" can fix this - I, unfortunately, do not possess even the most basic of diy skills !

Anyone any idea how to get this sorted and fixed?

Sorry Classic, being a bit thick here, how does that work with a Garmin Varia and a D-fuse seatpost? Cant see how from the picture but as I stated, i'm useless when it comes to this sort of stuff |:-(

Replace the light mount with the Varia mount. The "clamp" is flexible to fit almost any seatpost or handlebar mounting.
