Varnishing over replacement decals

I spotted a thread earlier that recommended using Winsor and Newton, white spirit soluble vanish over decals. I've now got my shiny new Thorn decals from H Lloyd and looking to apply.

I've yet to check with our local art supplies shop, but hopefully available through them.

This appears to be the one I recommended (although it's been re-named) , gloss, white spirit soluble and won't yellow.

The one in your link is satin, which may be your choice?
