And PSA are likely interested because it gives them potential manufacturing capacity in the UK, thus avoiding import tariffs post Brexit. It could be good, but I'll reserve judgement until some more information is in the open.

They had a uk manufacturing plant till they closed it down a few years ago.

They did indeed, and now it's come to bite them. To be fair though, it was a decade or so back and Brexit wasn't even a possibiliy back then.
