Velo cateye fitting

Problem fitting the sensor to the forks,where does it go exactly,i assume on the inside of the fork? I say that because it fouls the magnet,the instructions aren't clear enough. Have to get new cable ties and start again so want to be clear what i'm doing next time.
Hopefully some kind person can help....

Just move the sensor - i.e rotate it on the fork, no need for new cable ties - just push it - so as it doesn't foul the magnet - it's that simple. It will sit at an angle, but that is how they work. About 5mm clearance is OK.
