I've done quite a lot of rides with heavy loads, battling up the hills and such, as folk have said, never with anything so bulky though. Looks really interesting and quirky, like a badge of bohemia, a symbol of freedom, but I must agree with Steve, it's surely not as practical and comfortable as a tent?
