I've registered and will be taking it easier than on PBP.

Is anyone else planning on riding this? Or has ridden it?

The part on the High Peak Trail looks interesting but is probably not for my 23mm tyres; I'll be doing it on 28mm if I can fine a frame to fit them.

It's a good route and if you've never sampled the organiser`s hospitality you're in for a treat.
The first 80k is pretty flat, then it gets lumpier. Don't rush the ride, you want to be passing through Matlock no earlier than late afternoon to see the display of boats, after which the ride is named.
The High Peak Trail will be ok on 23mm tyres, it's a good surface even after heavy rain, but yes, wider tyres offer more comfort.
