Just pick up and old Raleigh routier for a £1 and the tip but it's a very big fram 60cm and is quite heavy so would there be any point in converting it to a fixie

of course there is , is it right size for you or not is first question .
go for easy get it back on road repairs then have rear wheel dished for single speed and try it , before spending too much
